Case-File Review/DNA Report Interpretation
IDENTIGENETIX, Inc. provides
a comprehensive review of case documentation for a variety of
purposes related to an individual request. On occasion, a review
is performed merely to translate the report into understandable
terms for a client. However, generally, DNA testing has been
performed and the associated documentation is scrutinized to
assess the quality of the testing, the conclusions reached
and their bases, and to make a determination regarding
additional testing.
 Errors
do occur. For example, either a transcriptional (administrative)
or sample-handling error could result in an incorrect association
between an evidentiary DNA profile
and the DNA profile
of a particular person. Independent, objective evaluation of
the testing and associated documentation by a qualified
expert can lead to the identification of problems and reduce
or eliminate undue harm.
